Why Isowall Panels Are Perfect for Your Food Processing Plant

Few things are more important to the proper functioning of your food processing plant than the temperatures within your facilities.  You must maintain extremely specific temperatures and humidity levels to continue providing food which is both safe and fully within regulatory guidelines – a task which can be difficult as your product moves through different rooms and industrial systems.

This is a difficult insulation challenge, but one we have designed our Isowall panels to overcome.  Isowall is designed to provide superior insulation perfect for food processing and other industrial tasks where cool temperatures must be maintained at all times.

How Isowall Panels Insulate Your Food Processing Facility

In addition to being CFIA-accepted and affordable, Isowall is designed to provide multiple layers of insulation, while also being easy to work with, install, and maintain.

Isowall panels begin with a foam core of Expanded PolyStyrene (EPS), a material designed specifically for insulation and heat containment.  This core can come in a variety of thicknesses, from 2″ to 10″, allowing them to be tailored to your own specific thermal needs.  Then, this core is sandwiched on either side by laminated sheet steel.  This adds to its protective properties, while also providing an extremely strong and easily-maintained outer layer protecting the foam core from damage.

Isowall has an R-value of 4.1 per inch, and unlike many other forms of industrial insulation, it will not degrade over time.  This also brings significant cost savings, up to 30% over other multi-part insulation building systems.  Adding to the cost benefit is the strength and survivability provided by the steel sheets.  An Isowall installation can be reasonably expected to last as long as your facilities, with low maintenance costs.

Further, Isowall is a green product.  It can contribute to LEED certification programs, and help you achieve Net-Zero Energy targets.

Isowall is also easy to work with.  The paneling is designed to be simple to install and easy to connect.  In situations where you need both hot and cold rooms, Isowall can also connect directly to our Rockwall fire-rated paneling.   The Isowall steel faces are available in a variety of colors so they can match the aesthetics of your facility while still providing top-quality insulation throughout your industrial processes.
