Clean Rooms

Application Overview

ISOWALL®: Provides fire resistance along with excellent thermal performance, ideal for freezers and cold storage where fire hazards may also be a concern.

When constructing clean rooms, selecting appropriate materials is crucial to ensure sterility, safety, and compliance with industry standards. ROCKWALL™ panels offer industry-leading fire resistance, exceptional thermal insulation, and ease of installation, making them an ideal solution for various clean room applications.

Room Size

Determining the appropriate size for a clean room is essential, as it influences airflow patterns, contamination control, and operational efficiency. ROCKWALL™ panels are available in custom sizes, allowing for flexible design and construction to accommodate both current needs and future expansions.

Flexibility

Clean rooms often require adaptability to accommodate evolving processes and equipment. The modular nature of ROCKWALL™ panels facilitates easy modifications and reconfigurations, ensuring that the clean room can adapt to changing operational requirements without significant downtime or expense.

.

By integrating ROCKWALL™ panels into your freezer and cooler installations, you not only achieve excellent insulation but also increase safety by reducing the risk of fire spread.

Room Temperature and Humidity Levels

Cleanrooms must maintain the right temperature and humidity levels at all times in order to keep sensitive equipment and other materials safe. Temperature and humidity control help reduce the risk of damage to materials and equipment while also lowering the risk of encountering static electricity. Providing temperature and humidity control also helps maintain a comfortable environment for employees who work in cleanrooms.

Case Study

Innovative Panel System
for Clean Rooms

Atmospheric and Static Pressure

Proper pressurization in clean rooms prevents the ingress of contaminants and maintains the desired cleanliness levels. The airtight construction of ROCKWALL™ panels supports the maintenance of controlled atmospheric and static pressure conditions, essential for preventing contamination and ensuring compliance with clean room standards.

For industries with heavy usage, such as food distribution centers or large-scale cold storage, the durability of ROCKWALL® panels translates into a lower total cost of ownership over the life of the cooler or freezer.

For industries like food processing or logistics, where downtime can impact business continuity, the ease of installation is a major advantage.

Clean Room Construction Standards

Adherence to international clean room construction standards, such as ISO 14644, is imperative. ROCKWALL™ panels meet these stringent standards, offering surfaces that are easy to clean, resistant to mold and mildew, and compliant with the required cleanliness classifications.
